Beautiful Boorloo weather this morning for our cultural experience at Karrgatup (Kings Park) with our friends at Ember Connect. Meg and Walter McGuire took us on a tour around Karrgatup, sharing Noongar history, bush medicine and language. We were then treated to incredible food from Bindi Bindi Dreaming. Ember Connect is an exciting new online platform connecting and elevating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. Check it out here

Three of our projects have been shortlisted as Finalists in the National 2022 AGDA AwardsJirntalpa Karnti, a beautiful book that maps Indigenous plants across the Pilbara, with Roy Hill Community Foundation and the Nyaparli People. Today we launched Little Ripples! A campaign for the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA), Australia’s Peak Body for the Career Industry. It was an awareness piece celebrating teachers’ lasting impact on a child’s life and career—encapsulated by the powerful idea of ripple effects. It was rolled out over a series of heart-warming videos, free resources, and an eBook series.

Anthologie have created a Lifeblood team for the Australian Red Cross. Every blood donation can save up to three lives! And one in three of us will need blood one day. We think that’s a bloody good reason.

Today some of the Anthologie team visited Foodbank’s impressive headquarters. Was an incredible experience, learning about the sobering picture of food insecurity in Western Australia and the important work Foodbank is doing every single day. Another incredible project, we’re excited to announce that Anthologie will be partnering with Walk Free to deliver the Global Slavery Index. The Global Slavery Index is the world’s most comprehensive data set of modern slavery and provides an impetus for governments, firms, NGOs, communities and individuals to mobilise powerful forces for change against these abuses of human rights.

Today our project consortium invited 40+ representatives of the homelessness services sector to a Project Walkthrough featuring our Portal wireframes (early prototype).  In this session they were able to view and comment on the Portal’s design, and discuss how they will be able to use and access the Portal.
